10 EASY STEPS

For most families, building a new home is a huge milestone. You have imagined what your new home would look like, you know where you’re going to place your furniture, and you may have already chosen your door knocker. So it is crucial that the process of actually building your home is as positive an experience as possible. That’s where we come in. Let's walk through the process.

  1. CHOOSE A FLOOR PLAN
    Whether you choose one of our plans, provide your own, or let us design one just for you, the first step in the homebuilding process is to choose a floor plan.

  2. PRELIMINARY PRICE
    Once you have chosen a floor plan, we will provide a base price for building your home.

  3. CHECK OUT OUR WORK
    We encourage all of new clients to visit a couple of our current job sites. Look us up and down, inside and out, from top to bottom. We are confident you'll like what you see. View an interactive map of our current projects

  4. FINANCING
    Whether you want to use your own bank or finance through us, now is the time to start the loan process. We offer many competitive programs to help you finance your new home. Fixed or adjustable rates, little or nothing down, and programs designed to assist you until you sell your existing home are all available. Whatever your situation, we have a financing program that fits. Find out more about our financing programs.

  5. SITE SURVEY
    You will meet with your personal construction manager at your property. At this meeting, we will discuss placement of your home, availability of utilities, and any other site-related issues.

  6. CARVED-IN STONE PRICE QUOTE
    One of the major concerns with many builders is the likelihood of running over budget. We have solved this problem once and for all. By looking at every detail BEFORE contract signing, we have eliminated surprises. So at this stage, we will review your floor plans, your site conditions, and a wide variety of options for your home. We will take this information and generate our “Carved In Stone” price quote, so you know up front what your new home will cost.

  7. CONTRACT SIGNING
    After determining your options and generating your final price, we will review and sign your construction contract. At this meeting, if you have chosen one of our financing options, we will also close on your new home loan.

  8. COLOR SELECTIONS
    Your new home should be a reflection of your personality and your lifestyle. So you will have access to hundreds of colors and styles for nearly every item in your home. We will walk you through this process, so you can thoroughly evaluate your options.

  9. CONSTRUCTION BEGINS!
    You will be amazed at how quickly your new home takes shape. This is the time to sit back, relax, and enjoy this most exciting time!

  10. MOVE-IN
    The day you've been waiting for! You will never forget finally getting to live in your new home, custom-designed and built just for you.
